Community Hall
Otematata community hall is available for hire. Perfect for weddings, birthdays, conferences or any other event that needs space and facilities to cater for a group of people. It can be divided into various sizes and has a full kitchen that can be used for catering.

Gym
The Otematata community gym offers an unsupervised Gym facility for the community.With a selection of cardio, fixed plated machines and loose weights we can cater for your needs. Situated up stairs in the Otematata community hall this superb facility can cater for all of your exercise requirements.

Playground
The Otematata playground is an exeptional area that has been developed by the Waitaki Distric Council and much of it by the Otematata Community. It has a flying fox, play equipment, a skateboard park and a bike track!
It is iften full of children playing and is a central point for kids to meet each other and have fun.

87.9 Choice FM
Running from the Otematata Holiday Park & Lodge, Choice FM is a community based station that plays a range of music to suit all ages. It has free community notices and is broadcast in to Twizel also. You can tune in anywhere in the world via the internet. Follow the links below.

The Otematata Community Library
The library is situated downstairs in the Lakes Centre Building to the rear of the West Road Shop and Cafe. Entrance is through the gateway on West Road used by Electrix. An alternative entry is from the footpath leading down from the playground to the shop.
OPENING HOURS
Monday: 2.30pm – 4.30pm
Tuesday - Friday: 2.30 – 3.30pm.
Saturday Morning: 11.00am – 12.00 midday.
Membership is free with no charges made for borrowing.
Photocopying is available for a small fee and internet access is free.
There is a wide variety of all genres and a good supply of magazines, large print books and hundreds of jigsaws for adults and children.
